The AccuWeather Now channel is now available on Comcast’s Xfinity X1 and Xfinity Stream platforms. The free, ad-supported streaming television (FAST) channel from AccuWeather is dedicated to all things weather-related.

With AccuWeather Now available, the free channel can be accessed directly through the channel guide on the X1 platform and in the Xfinity Stream app. Xfinity TV customers also have the option of accessing the channel on their X1 by saying “AccuWeather” or “AccuWeather Now” into their voice remote.

Regardless of whether accessing the channel on X1 or Xfinity Stream, Xfinity users can expect access to AccuWeather’s forecasts, as well as daily programming covering extreme and natural events, climate and weather-related news, and much more.

Xfinity continues to pave the way for television innovation, and we’re proud to be a part of Comcast’s entertainment evolution,” said AccuWeather CEO Steven R. Smith. “As weather and climate news becomes increasingly important to people’s daily lives, AccuWeather Now is the first FAST channel dedicated to weather news to be integrated on X1 and Stream, providing the detailed, accurate weather information that people need to help them plan their day and keep their families safe.”

At the same time as launching on Xfinity X1 and Xfinity Stream, AccuWeather Now was also added to Now TV’s FAST channel lineup. Now TV is available to Xfinity Internet customers and offers no-contract access to a variety of live TV channels for just $20 a month. The same subscription also includes access to Peacock Premium at no additional cost.
